Nature and Wildlife Photography

My nature and wildlife work begins with patient observation. I photograph birds, animals and the places they inhabit without disturbing the life unfolding in front of me.

Working close to the ground and often with a shallow depth of field, I look for the small gestures, textures and relationships that can be missed when we move too quickly.

The portfolio includes work from Vancouver Island, Haida Gwaii, England and other places I have spent time outdoors. Selected photographs are available as fine-art prints.
