About Lawrence

My relationship with photography began when my dad gave me a camera. What has stayed with me is the way a photograph asks us to pay attention: to people, to place and to the relationships that shape an experience.

That attention guides my work across weddings, community and nonprofit events, equestrian life, families, and the natural world. I am interested in honest photographs that feel connected to what was actually present.

I am based in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and available for work throughout British Columbia.
